This website posts anti-affordable health care act views and specific details on where to find more information on the provisions of the patient protection act and the affordable health care act. Nina Owcharenko writes, “The new law transfers vast powers to Washington bureaucrats who will control the dollars and decisions that should be in the hands of the individual patients and their families.” Could you even imagine having someone else make your health care decisions, or how about the decisions that affect your children’s health, and these people based their decisions off of how much the overall cost or price is? That’s a scary thought for me to even try to comprehend, what if my necessary heart surgery is over budget and I needed it to live however they didn’t feel like I would benefit a great deal from it and it would only extend my existence by a couple of years and that causes it to be deemed unimportant? I feel like this part of the decision making process should be left up to the families and patients not up the people who would essentially be “feeling lighter pockets” from more costly operations and procedures.

The second website I have found that I feel would be greatly beneficial when writing my argumentative paper, demonstrates the opposite of my views on Obama care and the Affordable Healthcare Act and gives me challenging thoughts and ideas to consider when writing my paper. It also lists websites and articles that do not support Obama care but there are a lot of pro’s and con’s they include. I feel using this website in particular will give me a lot of insight on the opposite views of my own, and not only give me good idea’s to argue against but also prepare me for what people with the opposite views are going to be thinking and saying and maybe this will provide me with some room to work with and provide people with informative information and documentation.
